Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. This energetic position involves providing direct support to patients, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Your dedication will help improve the quality of life for individuals of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, including those with complex medical needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, or behavioral health conditions. Whether working in long-term care facilities, hospitals, or home care environments, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference every day. Duties Resident Care Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Medication Assistance Assist residents with self-administration of medications in accordance with Arkansas regulations Provide medication reminders and document assistance Observe and report medication concerns or side effects to nursing staff Activities & Engagement Lead or assist with daily activities such as games, crafts, exercise, and social events Encourage resident participation and provide companionship Housekeeping & Laundry Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry and linens Monitoring & Documentation Take and record vital signs as assigned Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care General Support Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly Escort residents to meals, activities, and appointments Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment Support residents with meals, hydration, and overall comfort Promote resident dignity, independence, and well-being Experience Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Arkansas. Candidates should bring a strong foundation in patient care with prior experience in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs is highly valued. Familiarity with paper and EMR/EHR systems is preferred. Additional qualifications include proficiency in vital signs measurement, basic life support certification, and knowledge of medical terminology related to geriatrics, pediatrics, or post-acute care. Prior exposure to specialized areas like hospice care, infectious disease management, or trauma centers will be considered advantageous. Pay:
From $12.00 per hour
Benefits:
Paid time off Application Question(s): We currently work a 8 hour rotating weekend schedule. One week Mon-Tue-Fri-Sat Second week Sun-Wed-Thur. Can you commit to this?
