In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support and care to residents across various long-term care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, memory care units, and home & community care environments. Your efforts will directly enhance the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those experiencing dementia or Alzheimer's. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to ensure residents' health status is maintained. Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and assist with medication reminders as needed. Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease by implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques. Help with meal preparation and maintaining cleanliness in resident living areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Document all care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with team members regarding resident needs. Qualifications Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly preferred but not required. Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care techniques along with behavior management skills. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members, residents, and families. Reliable transportation for driving duties. Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
