Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Shower Team, providing essential personal hygiene and comfort care for residents in a compassionate and professional manner. This full-time position offers consistent weekday hours from 7am to 3pm, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with bathing and grooming. As a vital member of our care team, you will ensure residents' dignity, safety, and well-being are prioritized every day. Responsibilities Assist residents with showering, bathing, grooming, and hygiene routines while maintaining their dignity and comfort Monitor residents' skin condition and report any concerns or changes to nursing staff Follow infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment Document care provided accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation Support residents with mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts when necessary to ensure safe transfers Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate care plans and resident needs Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in compliance with health and safety standards Qualifications Valid CNA certification with current state licensure or registration Experience working with individuals requiring personal care, including seniors, those with dementia or Alzheimer's, or residents in assisted living or nursing home settings Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and basic anatomy/physiology relevant to personal hygiene care Ability to work compassionately with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs Strong communication skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and resident safety Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks that may involve lifting, transferring, or assisting residents with mobility aids Join us in delivering compassionate care that enhances quality of life for our residents!
