Schedule:

6:00 AM•6:30 PM (12-hour shifts)

Hours:

32 hours per week, working every other weekend Additional hours up to 40 per week may be available but are not guaranteed.

Contract-to-Hire We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a dedicated care team serving Veterans and Members in a long-term care environment. This is an excellent opportunity for CNAs who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care while working in a supportive and team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Assist Veterans/Members with activities of daily living (ADLs) Support mobility and rehabilitation efforts using simple procedures and assistive devices to maintain flexibility and strengthen limbs. Assist nursing staff with basic medical procedures including: Treatments Suppositories and enemas Post-surgical care Post-mortem care Monitor and document patient physical and mental status by: Taking vital signs Recording intake and output Collecting urine, stool, or sputum samples Maintain accurate medical records, worksheets, and documentation for assigned residents.

Assist residents during dining by:

Transporting residents to the dining area Reviewing menu choices Communicating dietary preferences Serving meals and assisting with feeding when necessary Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights while maintaining resident dignity and rights. Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident environments by changing linens, bedding, and personal items. Assist licensed nursing staff during emergency situations following established procedures and protocols. Provide transportation assistance for outside appointments as needed. Perform clerical and support duties including answering phones and filing. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, huddle boards, standardized work practices, and

processes. Qualifications Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in the State of Arizona Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, and staff Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of para-professional nursing care techniques and procedures Familiarity with medical equipment and infection control practices Understanding of healthcare safety standards and resident rights Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation and records Strong teamwork, organizational, and interpersonal skills Why Join Us?
