Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and deliver high-quality patient care in various settings, including inpatient units, clinics, and behavioral health environments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Provide support to nursing staff by preparing patients for examinations and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Lift and transfer patients as needed while ensuring their comfort and safety. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records systems such as Cerner. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Support behavioral health initiatives by providing empathetic care to patients with mental health needs. Requirements Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of physiology and basic medical terminology is essential. Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center protocols is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as required. Experience in inpatient care or clinic settings is highly desirable.
