We are looking for a FEMALE Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working on a one-on-one care plan in patients' homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but also building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Care or Dementia experience is a plus. Part-time Sunday through Saturday from 8 am to noon Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Meal preparation and light housekeeping Medication reminders Support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients Assist the client with daily activities such as baths, Personal hygiene care, transfers, or ambulating Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, light housekeeping, and assisting with personal care Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor Build relationships with clients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert medications reminders Engage patients in a range of motion exercises or other activities Companion care Dementia care, playing card games, have Qualifications Caregiving and/or CNA experience preferred Current CNA certification welcomed but not required for caregiver positions Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and follow care plans Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred CPR and First Aid certification is a plus Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with California state regulations Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program High School Diploma or GED Two to three years of prior professional experience Driver's license required or ID CPR certification required Must have a current TB test Live Scan and register with the California Home Care Registry (HCA)
