Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptional Urgent Care Provider to join our team. At Raincross Urgent Care our core values revolve around patient-centered care, staff well-being, and providing compassionate and caring healthcare services. As a part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our diverse patient population. Duties of the Job Provide and manage patient care issues including evaluations, assessments, and the provision of diagnosis and treatment plans. Common problems can include upper respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, musculoskeletal care, skin infections, and ear infections. Additionally, you will be exposed to chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, allergic rhinitis, and many others. You will be expected to assist in the triage of patients to assist those who need more immediate versus less immediate needs. Customer service is paramount as the success of the clinic depends on the delivery of excellent service. Order appropriate point of care tests and X-rays as clinically indicated. Perform laceration repair, digital blocks, incision and drainage, pelvic exams, and toenail removals. Spanish language skills are a plus. Apply splints such as short leg, short arm splints, and finger splints. Be a fast learner and open to learning up-to-date methods of care. A willingness to take on some management aspects of the clinic is a plus. Experience with EHR Provide care via telemedicine. Scheduling Scheduling is flexible and open for people seeking FTwork. Accommodation can be made for specific needs. Hours are Monday- Sunday 9am-9pm (•Major Holidays 10am-6pm) It is not unusual for you to continue working for 30-60 minutes as you finish up your shift. Typically you will be the sole provider in the Urgent Care, however, during busy times a second provider will be called in the help with patient care. You will always have a physician on call available for questions/concerns. What you need to bring to the table: Current California Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner license Active DEA license. A current CV / resume with a cover letter that specifies your education, experience, interests, and salary requirements. A strong interest in providing urgent care services and having an interest in learning or experience in performing urgent care related procedures. A willingness to work as part of a team and having an ability to work with a variety of different patient types. At least 1 year of Urgent Care experience (clinical rotations excluded) What's in it for you? A competitive hourly rate:
we will offer a pay that is based on your level of experience and is commensurate with your productivity abilities. After 6 months of employment, full-time providers are entitled to: DEA renewal fee Annual CME allowance of $1000 Annual uniform allowance of $100 Reimbursement of AANP/AANC or NCCPA recertification fees
