- Per Diem ProPathways San Bernardino, CA Job Details Per diem $32 - $38 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Nursing Skilled nursing facility experience LVN RN License Hospice care Home health Acute care Nursing Full Job Description Job Overview We are building a qualified pool of CNA Substitute Instructors to provide theory and clinical instruction across multiple Inland Empire campuses. This role is on-call and activated only when classes are in session to support coverage needs The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing, healthcare education, and clinical instruction, with the ability to effectively teach adult learners in various healthcare settings. This role involves delivering comprehensive CNA training, supervising students, and ensuring they meet the required competencies for certification. The position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate both teaching responsibilities and clinical expertise, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Deliver CNA theory and clinical instruction in accordance with the approved curriculum Supervise students in classroom and clinical settings Maintain accurate attendance, evaluations, and student records Ensure compliance with CDPH, Title 22, and infection control standards Communicate availability and accept substitute assignments as needed Schedule Examples Assignments vary by campus and cohort schedule:

PM Clinical:
M-F, 6:30 AM-3:00
PM PM:

T/W/Th, 6:00 PM-10:00
PM Clinical:
Sat/Sun, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM Requirements Active California RN or LVN license in good standing Minimum 2 years of nursing experience post-licensure At least 1 year providing care to chronically ill or elderly patients in an acute care, SNF, ICF, home health, hospice, or long-term care setting 1 year experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in nursing, OR 24 hours of BRN-approved or accredited adult education coursework Must obtain CDPH Instructor approval (CDPH 279) before teaching. Additional Information This is an on-call substitute role; assignments are not guaranteed Substitutes are activated only when classes are in session All instructors must complete onboarding and receive CDPH approval before teaching

$32.00 - $38.00 per hour
