Full Job Description Employment Duration:

3 months Under the immediate supervision of the OR Supports Manager, the incumbent performs cleaning and disinfecting duties within perioperative areas, including operating rooms, Pre-Op and PACU, Sterile Processing, workrooms, clean/dirty utility rooms, offices, bathrooms, and all areas within the perioperative suite footprint. Tasks follow AORN, Joint Commission, and UCSF Infection Control standards. The incumbent is an integral member of the perioperative team, supporting efficient room turnover and overall team operations. Responsibilities require the ability to operate floor-maintenance machinery, perform overhead cleaning during terminal cleaning procedures, and move equipment to complete cleaning tasks safely using proper body mechanics. The role also includes assisting with patient transport for discharge and providing exemplary customer service to patients, physicians, and coworkers at all times.
