CNA Responsibilities As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct resident care and assist the nursing team in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Duties Include:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Take and record vital signs and promptly report changes in resident condition Assist with meals, hydration, feeding, and after-meal care Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment Respond quickly and compassionately to call lights and resident needs Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges Accurately document care provided in charts and flow sheets Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA, and privacy procedures Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members Support restorative nursing and rehabilitation programs CNA Qualifications Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required Skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care experience preferred Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Strong communication and observation skills Ability to follow care plans and document accurately Commitment to treating every resident with dignity, kindness, and respect Why Join Sonoma Post Acute?
