Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that patients receive respectful, personalized support that promotes their health, comfort, and dignity. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working alongside a team of passionate healthcare professionals. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other transfer devices. Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support. Assist with clinical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and basic life support (BLS) as needed in acute or emergency situations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in medical-surgical units, ICU settings, or post-acute care environments to deliver comprehensive patient service. Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols for infectious disease care and practicing proper use of PPE. Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program. Experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like eClinicalWorks or Cerner for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care across geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and critical care populations. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities in home & community or inpatient settings. Strong understanding of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and infection prevention practices. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including patient transfers using Hoyer lifts and maintaining patient safety at all times. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and provide compassionate patient service. Join us in delivering exceptional care that transforms lives! This role is ideal for motivated CNAs eager to grow their expertise across multiple specialties—whether it's emergency medicine, ICU experience, geriatrics, or pediatric care—and make a positive impact every day through dedicated caregiving and professional excellence.
