At Mulberry Gardens, our assisted living community offers supportive living environments as well as specialized care for those with early memory loss. The goal is to provide all residents with the very best quality of life - we offer assisted living and adult day care programs so residents can live their lives to the fullest. The Certified Nursing Assistant is an essential part of the care team who will interact with clients of the Adult Day Center. Will be responsible for interacting with multiple clients in a group setting and with individual clients as needed. Additional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications A Connecticut state Nurse Aide Certification is required Ability to read, write & speak English Flexibility to calmly and compassionately work with individuals with changing cognitive abilities and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Monitor and report any client behavior, health, or vital statistic changes to Licensed Nurse. Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age. Team Player, able to interact professionally and compassionately with clients, staff, family members and others Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations. We take great care of careers.
