Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Office Team Lead to join our vibrant dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient administrative workflows. Your energetic leadership will motivate the team, uphold exceptional customer service standards, and maintain accurate medical and dental records. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding healthcare support. Responsibilities Supervise front office staff, including dental receptionists and administrative support personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment Oversee patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and rescheduling to optimize clinic flow and reduce wait times Manage patient intake procedures, including collecting medical history, updating electronic health records (EHR systems), and ensuring accurate documentation review Facilitate billing processes by coding procedures with CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes, ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes such as ICD-9/10, and handling collections for outstanding balances Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and ensuring confidentiality in all documentation practices Provide exceptional patient service through professional phone etiquette, multi-line phone system management, and clear communication of clinic policies and procedures Requirements Proven experience in a dental office setting support role with strong familiarity with dental terminology. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and healthcare documentation review protocols Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a front desk team effectively Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, medical records management, and office operations Outstanding customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and efficient typing skills (including 10-key typing) •Salary negotiable based on experience•Join us in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for from the moment they walk through our doors!
