Activities Assistant/CNA

We are now hiring an Activities Assistant to assist with planning and implementing activities for our skilled nursing facility's residents. Must have C.N.A license. Will assist the Activities Director design programs to encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment, and improve daily living skills. May prepare reports on patients' progress.

Available Schedule:

Between 11:30am- 8pm (8 hrs. shifts); Rotating Weekends required

ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS

MUST have a CNA license CPR or BLS Certification Experience working as part of an Activities Department in long term care, preferably a skilled nursing facility. Familiarity with Resident's Rights. Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds. Flexibility in work schedule Willingness to adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures. This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
