HHA/CNA

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home health environments. The ideal candidates will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory care needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. Applicants should possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient observation, and medication administration, along with familiarity with EMR/EHR systems. Prior experience in long-term care or hospice care is highly valued. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' conditions, reporting any changes or concerns promptly Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols and maintaining accurate medical documentation Perform vital signs assessments and document findings accurately using EMR/EHR systems Support patients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met Assist with catheter care, wound care, and other specialized medical procedures as trained Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with patient transfers Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with laundry and light cleaning tasks Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, especially those with dementia or memory impairments Qualifications Valid HHA or CNA certification required; CPR certification preferred Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to patient care Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly while maintaining professionalism Prior experience in hospice or long-term care environments is a plus Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to all safety protocols This position offers an enriching environment where caregivers can develop their skills while providing vital support to those in need. Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
