CNA - Med Tech Providence Living at Pembroke Pines - 5.0 Pembroke Pines, FL Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Report writing Medication administration Patient monitoring Writing skills Infection control Assisting with ADLs Bathing assistance Full Job Description Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Med Tech will provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship while also administering proper medicine passing technique. 1. Provides care and assistance with the functions of daily living, including but not limited to dressing, bathing, walking, and feeding.
  • 2. Maintains residents' health records and resident charts by timely documenting any changes in health, incidents, and observation of unusual occurrences.
  • 3. Responds quickly to emergencies and follows Providence Living guidelines for reporting events.
  • 4. Helps residents with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, or standing and walking.
  • 5. Measures and records residents' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
  • 6. Wears appropriate PPE throughout shift as regulated by CDC and local regulatory guidelines.
  • 7. Adheres to an updated state or federal regulations, including but not limited to COVID and other infectious virus and disease procedures.
  • 8. Completes all require training and in-service recertification.
  • 9. Safety is an important part of the Providence Living culture, as such, all policies and procedures for workplace safety must be observed while on property.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
