In this vital role, you will deliver personalized assistance, promote independence, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for individuals with diverse needs. Your energetic and caring approach will make a meaningful difference every day, supporting residents through their daily routines and health needs with professionalism and empathy. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and transfer devices Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in residents' conditions, and report findings to nursing staff promptly Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Provide specialized care for residents with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory care needs, utilizing techniques like aseptic procedures and behavioral health strategies Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to promote mental well-being and community involvement Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist with medical procedures including catheter care, wound care, phlebotomy support, and basic life support (BLS) when necessary Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care settings preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient service standards Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner for accurate medical documentation Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs including dementia or Alzheimer's care Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and provide compassionate resident support Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift residents safely using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts, and perform routine caregiving tasks Join us in delivering heartfelt care that transforms lives!
