Part time Kids Director

Kids Director 15-20 hours per week | Liberty Church - Tavares Description The Liberty Kids Director is responsible for creating environments where children (birth-5th grade) can take their next step in following Jesus. This role leads the weekly Liberty Kids experience by recruiting, equipping, and supporting volunteers while ensuring classrooms and ministry environments are safe, organized, and engaging for every child and family Expectations A committed follower of Jesus Christ who aligns with the mission and beliefs of Liberty Church Passion for the spiritual development of children and families A leader who can recruit, train, and encourage volunteers Organized and able to prepare ministry environments each week A team player who supports the vision and culture of Liberty Church A positive and flexible attitude when serving families and volunteers Responsibilities Lead Liberty Kids (birth-5th grade) each week Recruit, train, and schedule children's ministry volunteers Ensure classrooms are prepared and ready for children and volunteers Create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for kids and families Follow up with first-time guest families and support family engagement Coordinate children s ministry involvement in special church events Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with church leadership Schedule Part-time position including Sunday responsibilities and some weekday preparation time.
