Operations Manager / Production Manager Position Summary The Nursery Production Assistant supports daily plant production activities within a wholesale nursery environment. This role assists with planting, maintenance, and preparation of plant materials to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely order fulfillment. Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Production & Maintenance

• Assist with planting, transplanting, and spacing of plant material
• Water, fertilize, and maintain plant health
• Monitor for pests, disease, and quality issues
• Prune and groom plants to meet standards Order Preparation & Fulfillment
• Pull and stage plant orders accurately
• Assist with loading and unloading
• Ensure quality standards are met before shipment Facility & Inventory Support
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Assist with inventory tracking
• Operate basic nursery equipment General Operations
• Follow daily production schedules
• Support seasonal workload demands
• Follow safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications Education & Experience:

• High school diploma preferred
• Nursery or agricultural experience preferred but not required

Skills & Abilities:

• Basic plant knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
• Attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have reliable transportation Current, clean driving record with driver's license Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Stand, walk, bend for extended periods
• Work outdoors in varying weather Work Environment Outdoor nursery and greenhouse settings with exposure to plant materials, soil, and equipment. Performance Expectations

• Bilingual preferred Compensation & Schedule Hourly position.

Full-time or part-time based on season. Overtime may be required.

Pay:

$15.00
