Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing exceptional patient care, assistance with daily activities, and support tailored to individual needs. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a respectful and empathetic manner. Duties Provide attentive patient observation to monitor health status and report changes promptly. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document care activities accurately and maintain medical records securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and compassionate engagement. Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to ensure client mobility and safety. Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding when necessary, and maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment. Requirements Valid CNA certification or PCA license with current credentials. Prior experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes. CPR certification required; additional training in hospice or Alzheimer's care is a plus. Ability to work independently while following care plans accurately and compassionately. Join our team to provide compassionate, professional care that enhances the lives of those we serve while fostering a supportive work environment built on respect and dedication.
