CNA/PCA WITH RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the client in their home in College Park 7 hrs 7 days a week.

Duties

• Assist the patient as needed
• Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care and observations.
• Assist with mobility and transportation of patient to and from doctor's appointment or to the Grocery store if needed
• Offer companionship and emotional support to patient, particularly those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times. Requirements
• Previous experience as a CNA or PCA working with patients who may have dementia or mental disability
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to complete medical documentation accurately and efficiently, such as the Caregivers Time and Activity Record sheet
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of relevant training programs is required. PCA
• GACCP test
