Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients across diverse settings. As a vital member of our caregiving staff, you will provide essential support in promoting patient comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in dynamic environments such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care settings, all while developing your skills in patient care and medical documentation. Duties Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and independence Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration; accurately document findings using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments; implement memory care techniques and behavioral health strategies Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs safely to prevent injury and promote mobility Collaborate with nursing staff on acute care procedures including infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and post-acute care protocols Engage in patient service activities within medical-surgical units, intensive care units (ICU), pediatric units (PICU), or emergency departments to ensure comprehensive care delivery Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active licensure in the state of employment Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including long-term care residents, hospice patients, or individuals with developmental disabilities Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation Experience in specialized areas like ICU, emergency medicine, behavioral health, or geriatrics is highly desirable Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting with Hoyer lifts and assisting patients with mobility needs safely Strong communication skills paired with a compassionate attitude toward patient-centered care Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services. Pay:
$17.50 - $19.50 per hour
