Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking Certified Nurse Aide's who are also Certified Medication Aides in the State of Georgia. Please note that all CMA/CNAs are expected to perform both medication administration and direct resident care. Due to the size and needs of our Memory Care community, staff may be scheduled on the medication cart some days and on the floor providing resident care on others. Flexibility, teamwork, and a passion for senior care are essential. Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed and authorized
- Assist with direct resident care (ADLs) including: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulation, escort services, and other care as needed.
- Assist with engaging activities for residents
- Maintain and update medical records accurately
- Support medical office operations by handling administrative tasks
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Experience
- Previous experience in a medication aide role or related healthcare position preferred
- Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the State of Georgia
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Must be fluent in English Shift availability: Day Shift (8 hrs) Day Shift (12 hrs) Evening Shift (8 hrs) Overnight Shift (8 hrs)
