Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Caregiver, where your compassionate care and clinical skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients across diverse settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in environments ranging from hospitals and nursing homes to assisted living facilities and home care, providing essential support to individuals with varying needs. Your expertise in patient care, medical documentation, and specialized procedures will help promote health, comfort, and dignity for those you serve. Duties Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient conditions, accurately documenting findings within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Administer medications and perform basic medical procedures following aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, behavioral health challenges, or developmental disabilities Assist with complex clinical tasks including catheter care, phlebotomy, wound dressing changes, and infection control protocols in acute or sub-acute care settings Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in emergency medicine, ICU, Level I Trauma Centers, or pediatric units such as PICU or neonatal units to deliver comprehensive patient service Maintain accurate medical records, document medical terminology correctly, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent caregiving credential Proven experience working in long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU or emergency departments), assisted living communities, or home & community care environments Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for medical documentation Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient safety protocols including basic life support (BLS) certification Experience providing specialized care such as Alzheimer's/dementia memory care or behavioral health support is highly desirable Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children with disabilities or those requiring pediatric or outpatient care Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary healthcare teams Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
