AmeriCare Home Health is urgently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one personal care and support for a pediatric patient with Cerebral Palsy in the home setting. The ideal candidate will be dependable, patient-focused, and experienced in assisting pediatric clients with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support. Assist with feeding and meal preparation according to the care plan. Help with transfers, positioning, and mobility assistance for a wheelchair-bound patient. Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse and care team. Assist with toileting and incontinence care as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the patient. Provide companionship and emotional support to the patient and family. Follow infection control, safety protocols, and the established care plan. Complete required documentation accurately and promptly. Assist with range-of-motion exercises and other non-skilled supportive care tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
Active CNA certification in the State of Georgia (required) Current CPR certification Pediatric caregiving experience preferred Experience caring for patients with mobility limitations or special needs preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and compassionate Ability to safely assist with transfers and personal care activities
