Position Summary :

As a Non-Certified Nurse Aide, you will be an essential part of our care team, assisting residents with daily living activities and supporting the nursing staff to provide the highest quality of care. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a nursing home setting and take the next step in their healthcare career.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed. Assist with feeding patients, including tube feeding if necessary. Support the healthcare team in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications :

Must have completed a state-approved CNA class . Ability to pass Prometric's CNA certification exam within 4 months of employment. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor when working with elderly residents. Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents and staff. Ability to lift and move patients as needed, following proper safety protocols. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Why Work at The Care Center of Honolulu?
