Job Description:

Sunny View Care Center is looking for Certified Medication Assistant's to join our team! Must also have Certified Nurse Aide certificate as this is a dual role. We are hiring for 2nd shift. Weekend package shifts available. Certified Medication Aide/Certified Nurse Aide Duties (CNA/CMA): Assisting residents with administration of medications. Following up with observation and documentation of resident response to medication received. Provides the right medication to the right person at the right time in the right dose and by the right route ensuring all changes in medication are responded to in a timely manner. Stores medications correctly, cleans and locks med cart or other storage system. Follows Facility policy for missed medications, accidentally dropped by the resident, and medication errors. Follows procedures for documentation, including narcotics sign out. Assists as needed to provide resident care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs. Assists residents with meals. Certified Medication Aide (CMA/CNA)

Qualifications:

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certified as a Medication Aide (CMA) from the state of Iowa. All applicants must be at least 16 years old
