Job Description
CNA - Treatment Technician We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative Medical Assistant to support our mental health providers (DO, NP, PA, and Residents). Unlike traditional clinical roles, this position is primarily focused on behind-the-scenes clinical operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a desk-based environment, acting as the critical link between patients, pharmacies, and insurance providers. While you remain a vital part of the care team, your day-to-day will emphasize medication management and administrative coordination rather than one-on-one, in-room patient care. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Treatment Facilitation:
Administer Spravato treatments following strict physician protocols andFDA REMS
guidelines.Patient Monitoring:
Observe patients during their 2-hour post-administration window, monitoring vital signs and emotional well-being to ensure safety and comfort.Clinical Coordination:
Manage treatment schedules, handle insurance prior-authorizations, and document session notes in our EMR system.Compassionate Care:
Provide reflective listening and support to patients during their treatment sessions, maintaining a calm and therapeutic environment.Operational Support:
Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, assist with pharmacy orders, and coordinate with our team of psychiatrists. What We're Looking For (Qualifications)Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; CNA or CMA with procedural experience preferred.Experience:
Previous experience in a medical office or mental health setting (CMA, CNA, or Behavioral Health Tech experience is a huge plus).Skills:
Exceptional empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in clinical situations.Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (must be active or obtained within 30 days of hire).Job Details Full-time:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; no nights or weekendsLocation:
