Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including inpatient care, memory care, and home community care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient service skills and a willingness to learn and grow within the nursing field. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide support in specialized areas such as Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Operating Room (OR) settings. Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and changes in condition. Support phlebotomy procedures as needed while ensuring patient comfort. Exhibit knowledge of anatomy to assist in providing quality care tailored to individual patient needs. Requirements Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. Strong skills in patient service with a focus on empathy and compassion. Experience or knowledge in geriatrics, memory care, or home community care is preferred. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as ICU or inpatient settings. Familiarity with basic medical terminology and anatomy is advantageous. Willingness to learn new skills related to patient care practices.
