Activities Assistant Skilled Nursing | Full-Time | Engaging Role

Henry Rehab and Nursing is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to join our team in a skilled nursing setting. This is a hands-on, resident-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys creating meaningful daily experiences for older adults. You'll work closely with the Activities Director to deliver engaging recreational programs that enhance quality of life, promote social interaction, and support resident well-being. What You'll Do Lead and assist with daily recreational and therapeutic activities Encourage resident participation while fostering an inclusive, positive environment Provide hands-on support during scheduled programs and events Set up and clean up activity spaces and materials Document resident attendance, engagement, and responses to activities Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support resident needs What We're Looking For Prior experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, or working with older adults (preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Team-oriented mindset with a positive, energetic attitude Reliable, consistent, and compassionate approach to resident care Why Join Henry Rehab and Nursing Full-time, stable position (no agency involvement) Supportive team environment in a well-run skilled nursing facility Opportunity to make a direct impact on residents' daily lives
