In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and support individuals across various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. Your expertise in using Hoyer lifts will ensure safe and efficient care delivery. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Observe and report changes in patient condition, including cognitive status related to dementia, Alzheimer's and hospice care Support patients during transfers and mobility exercises, utilizing Hoyer lifts safely and effectively Assist with meal preparation, feeding, laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents or patients Maintain detailed medical documentation and records to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare standards Experience Hands-on experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions like Alzheimer's disease Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to patient care scenarios Experience working with home health clients or providing community-based caregiving services
Qualifications:
. Least 1 year of homecare experince Must have CPR, TB and annual physical Must be verified in IDPH Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Must be 18 years or older.
Schedule Varies:
Mondays and Tuesday 730a-1230p Wednesday and Saturdays 8a-3p Thursdays 7a-1p Fridays 730a-230p Sundays 7a-10 and 10a-2p Join our team to provide compassionate, professional care that enhances the quality of life for every individual we serve. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
