Job Description

LaSalle General Hospital is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant/Mental Health Tech on a full-time basis for the night shift. Guided by compassion, integrity and quality, the staff of the 16-bed unit serves adults and seniors in the Jena and surrounding areas experiencing mental, emotional and behavioral challenges. Experience in behavioral health preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Assisting in coordinating essential program activities such as activity groups and specialty groups. Working closely with all other clinical staff (Recreational Therapist, Social Worker, and Nurses) to conduct various process and specialty groups within the patient program. Is integral in assuring that the patient program schedule is carried out as planned by the staff team. Performing various duties assisting staff nurses in the psychiatric and physical treatment and care of patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the hospital. Interacting with patients in a therapeutic manner at all times and assisting other staff to also maintain appropriate boundaries.
