Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Support medication administration under supervision in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Maintain a safe environment by practicing aseptic techniques and adhering to infection control protocols Document patient care activities thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory impairments, or behavioral health needs Assist with complex medical procedures including catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and basic life support when required Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in settings like ICU, Level I Trauma Centers, pediatric units (PICU), or post-acute care facilities to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care Support patients in outpatient clinics or home & community care environments ensuring their comfort and safety during treatment or recovery Experience Candidates should demonstrate prior experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics. Ideal applicants will have familiarity with: Critical care experience including ICU or Level II trauma center settings Long-term care or geriatrics with a focus on senior and dementia care Medical-surgical units and post-acute rehabilitation services Behavioral health settings supporting individuals with disabilities or mental health conditions Use of EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Skills in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, catheter care, phlebotomy procedures, and aseptic techniques Experience working with pediatric populations (including PICU) or individuals requiring hospice or infectious disease care is a plus Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient assessments and treatments Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional patient service through compassionate caregiving!
