Pediatric Nurse or Medical Assistant

General pediatrics office in suburban Silver Spring seeks a nurse (RN/LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. Position is part-time, 2 days a week, consistent schedule - Likely Tuesday and Friday.

Eligibility :

A minimum of one year of clinical pediatrics experience required. We also require current CPR certification. You must have used an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a prior position. Skill/job requirements include : Patient intake: vitals, gathering and documenting patient history in EHR Administering vaccines and medications Using clinical judgment to anticipate patient and/or physician's needs Collecting diagnostic tests, including but not limited to capillary blood draws, strep/flu/RSV/SARS-2 rapid tests, and urinalysis Helping the office maintain COVID-safe protocols Telephone triage, advice, and education Benefits include: Work with a supportive team of nurses/MAs Paid accrued time off (sick and vacation) 401k retirement plan (with employer match after 1 year of employment)
