Additional Information:
The High School Transition to Practice position is an opportunity for high-school CNAs to work within their license in a schedule that accommodates labor laws associated with being a working high-school student. The Nursing Float Pool is the department for CNA's that are seeking a challenge and would like exposure to a broad range of patient acuity levels. The CNA joining the Float Pool is looking to gain or build upon a broad range of clinical skills and knowledge base.

Ability to float between Medical-Surgical Units with focus of Cardiac and Post-Surgical diagnoses, as well as our Special Care unit, which provides great exposure to specialties while continuing to expand your experience and skills.
Summary:
TheCertified Nursing Assistantrole assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
Experience:
Relevant experience preferred.
