We offer traditional nursing services such as therapy, hospice care, long-term care, and skilled nursing. Our rehabilitative therapy services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, along with therapeutic recreation.

Location 200 Sand Creek Hwy - Adrian, Michigan CNA Training Program Classes start: June 10th Classes end: July 2nd The overall objective of our CNA Training Program is to teach the following quality services of resident care by nurse aides who can: Form a relationship, communicate, and interact competently on a one-to-one basis with residents. Demonstrate sensitivity to residents' emotional, social, and mental health needs through skillfully directed interactions. Assist residents in attaining and maintaining functional independence. Exhibit behavior that support and promote residents' rights. Demonstrate observational and documentation skills needed in the assessment of resident's health, physical condition, and well-being. Participants will complete a total of 75 training hours during the program that is taught by our nurse educators. Upon successful completion participants will be scheduled to complete their State written/oral and clinical competency exams. Requirements for Employment Provide proof of a High School Diploma or GED Pass a Criminal Background Check, Pre-employment Physical and Drug Screen CNA Job Summary Perform direct resident care under the supervision of a professional nurse. Participate and report pertinent information concerning residents. Follow universal precautions and proper infection control techniques, as well as maintain a clean work environment. Work cooperatively with residents, visitors, nurses, elder care providers, physicians, families, consulting personnel, ancillary services and surveyors. Be in compliance with Federal, State and local regulations within the control of Certified Nursing Assistants. Attend to residents' nutritional needs, which includes handling and preparation of food and fluid. Assist with housekeeping duties as assigned. Working conditions include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling and reaching frequently. Possible exposure to conditions normally expected of resident care areas, such as unpleasant sights, odors and difficult interpersonal situations. Potential for injury and exposure to blood and body fluids and communicable diseases. Physical Demands include ability to lift up to 20 pounds; moving, lifting or transferring of residents may involve lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as assist with weights of more than 100 pounds; ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work up to 16 hours per day as needed to meet the care needs of our residents.
