•Please join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specializing in Private Duty Care! In this vital role, you will provide personalized, compassionate care to individuals in their homes or private settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your expertise will support clients with diverse needs, including long-term care, memory care, and post-acute recovery. This position offers an energizing opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. Whether assisting with daily activities or managing complex medical needs, your skills will be essential in promoting independence and enhancing quality of life. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Administer medications following prescribed protocols while adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, behavioral health management, and memory care strategies Assist with medical procedures including catheter care, wound dressing changes, phlebotomy preparation, and basic life support when necessary Collaborate with healthcare teams in hospital settings like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers, providing critical patient service in acute or emergency situations Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of patient care activities for compliance and continuity of care Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral health conditions Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or other EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care Experience in diverse settings such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, or home care environments Ability to perform complex caregiving tasks including medication administration and use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients or family members on care plans Join us to empower individuals through compassionate caregiving!
