Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that patients receive respectful, personalized support that promotes their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized medical attention. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, ensuring a safe and comforting environment for memory care Document patient information thoroughly while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines Report directly back to RN case manager with any changes in pt condition. Experience Candidates should bring a strong background in diverse healthcare environments including hospital medicine, long-term care facilities like nursing homes or assisted living communities, outpatient clinics, or home & community care settings. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs is highly valued. Ideal applicants will have familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks, along with proficiency in medical terminology and physiology knowledge. Experience in specialized areas such as ICU, emergency medicine, geriatrics, hospice care, or Level II trauma centers will set candidates apart. Certifications in basic life support (BLS), and familiarity with infection control practices are essential.
