Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Technician, where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, assist with medication administration, and support the overall well-being of individuals across various care settings. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will help foster a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for those we serve. Responsibilities Deliver personalized patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and hygiene. Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; document findings diligently using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Support patients with specialized needs including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and behavioral health management. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care or phlebotomy to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers to promote mobility and prevent injury. Maintain comprehensive medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate medical records management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, or outpatient settings to deliver holistic patient service. Demonstrate proficiency in working within EMR/EHR systems like eClinicalWorks or Cerner for efficient patient data entry and retrieval. Support infection control protocols during infectious disease or Level I Trauma Center scenarios to safeguard patients and staff. Experience Candidates should possess prior experience in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is highly valued. A background in medical-surgical units, pediatrics—including PICU—and behavioral health is preferred. Familiarity with advanced procedures like IV therapy or urgent care practices enhances your candidacy. Certification in basic life support (BLS), along with knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA compliance is essential. Prior exposure to EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous for seamless documentation. Join us to provide exceptional patient-centered care that transforms lives!
