Job Title:
PRN CNA Schedule:
PRN - After hours, typically between 10pm - 6am.
Job Summary:
Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment; work cooperatively with the patient, and family; and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma Preferred.
Licensure:
Driver's license. CPR certification. State approved Certified Nursing Aide certification.
Experience:
Minimum one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice or long-term care facility or completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program. Hospice experience is preferred.
Skills:
Aide skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Strong attention to detail and organizational habits. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills.
Transportation:
Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
