Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and organized environment
• Provide support to patients with special needs, including those with behavioral health conditions
• Assist with airway management and gastric lavage procedures
• Utilize electronic medical records systems such as eClinicalWorks and Cerner to document patient information

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a nursing assistant training program
• Experience working with children is preferred
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) and its proper use
• Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
