JOB OVERVIEW
Care Partners are part of a compassionate, purpose‑driven team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day. At Hampton Manor of Wentzville, Care Partners support a warm, respectful, and resident‑centered environment where dignity, safety, and quality of life come first. Care Partners provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a supportive and engaging atmosphere for all residents, including those living in Memory Care. Care Partners work under the supervision of the Director of Wellness and collaborate with all departments to ensure residents receive consistent, high‑quality care. Care Partners may be certified as CNAs, NAs, CMTs, or L1MAs. Those with medication certification may administer medications and document in the qMAR in accordance with Missouri DHSS regulations and facility policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide resident-centered care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and other activities of daily living. Support residents during meals, including set-up, cueing, feeding assistance, and hydration monitoring. Observe and report changes in resident condition, behavior, appetite, mobility, or cognition. Engage residents in meaningful interactions, activities, and routines that support dignity, independence, and quality of life. Follow all safety, infection control, and emergency procedures. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation as required by facility policy and DHSS regulations. Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and supervisors. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, including resident rooms, common areas, and care equipment. Participate in new resident orientation by helping residents adjust to routines, services, and community expectations. Attend all required training and maintain all required certifications. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Wellness.
MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES
(CMT
AND L1MA ONLY
) Administer medications in accordance with Missouri DHSS regulations and within the scope of current certification. Follow all medication safety procedures, including proper identification, dosage verification, and documentation. Document all medication administration, refusals, omissions, and PRN effectiveness in the qMAR accurately and in real time. Communicate medication-related concerns, side effects, or changes in resident condition to the Director of Wellness promptly. Maintain medication security, cleanliness, and organization of the medication cart and medication room. Assist with ordering, receiving, storing, and counting medications as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must meet all Missouri DHSS requirements for employment in an Assisted Living Facility, including baseline and ongoing health screenings. Must successfully pass all required background checks as mandated by Missouri DHSS, including the Family Care Safety Registry screening. Must complete all required facility orientation and annual training. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Must demonstrate compassion, patience, professionalism, and the ability to work with residents living with dementia. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with resident care.
For CNA/NA roles:
CNA certification or equivalent experience preferred, depending on facility requirements. For
CMT/L1MA
roles: Must hold a current Missouri CMT or L1MA certification in good standing.
For medication roles:
Must demonstrate competency in medication administration, documentation, and qMAR use. Insulin certification preferred; the facility will provide training opportunities for eligible medication staff. CPR certification preferred; the facility will provide opportunities for certification or recertification as needed.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
