Nurse Practioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for Functional Health/Preventative Care Somers Country Mart (Flathead Lake) Somers, MT Job Details Part-time | Temp-to-hire | Full-time | Contract $50 - $100 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Telehealth experience DEA License Advanced practice provider Full Job Description Overview Organic Health Food Store is looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide functional medicine/preventive care initiatives to our Customers in the beautiful Flathead Lake community of Somers. Summers are great in Somers! We are interested in the telehealth model for Hims & Hers "direct-to-consumer digital front door" design. Instead of dealing with traditional insurance, long waits, or brick-and-mortar doctor visits, they rely on a cash-pay, subscription-based telehealth framework. Are you Entrepreneurial? We're interested in expanding to the other full independent authority 28 states that allow these autonomous arrangements. Skills Skills in health coaching for preventive care initiatives; experience with clinical research or public health projects is advantageous. Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, and eClinicalWorks for documentation and data collection. Proficiency in advanced procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, IV infusion therapy, and dermal fillers. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support accurate patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation. Familiarity with CPT coding for procedures and ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) for billing purposes. Ability to perform physical examinations efficiently while adhering to aseptic techniques; Excellent communication skills for patient education on topics like family planning or addiction counseling; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to establish accurate diagnoses. Manage acute and chronic conditions utilizing advanced clinical skills such as suturing, injection administration, and airway management. Perform diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging and laboratory data collection to inform treatment plans. Utilize EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, and eClinicalWorks for documentation of patient encounters, medical records management, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding procedures, and data management. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and security of medical records.
