Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and transfer devices. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring timely communication of any changes to the nursing team. Support medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques to maintain patient safety. Document patient care activities thoroughly using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring medical records are complete and compliant with regulations. Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or behavioral health conditions, fostering a safe and supportive environment. Assist with medical procedures including catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and wound care in accordance with clinical protocols. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in settings ranging from long-term care facilities and assisted living communities to hospital units like ICU or emergency departments. Qualifications Valid CNA certification from an accredited program; current state licensure required. Prior experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, hospice or home care settings. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards. Experience supporting patients with special needs including developmental disabilities, pediatric populations, or geriatrics. Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic techniques and handling infectious diseases. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving lifting (Hoyer lifts), repositioning patients, and standing for extended periods. Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient service; ability to work effectively within a team environment.
