Job Description

Where You'll Work CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, has been proudly serving our community since 1920. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston proudly provides primary care, specialty care, family medicine, 3D mammography, orthopedics, neurology, and several other health services to our Williston community. Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Clinic CNA, you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.

Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service, strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to patient support, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of dignified, high-quality healthcare. Must be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings, prepare sterile field for suturing, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy Assists in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needs Assists with patient transports and transfers Answer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, transcribe provider's orders, electronic data entry, and assist with documentation Assists with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies
Job Requirements Required Certified Nursing Assistant:
North Dakota, upon hire and American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
