Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This Position is part time 7-1pm Monday through Friday. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care in a long-term care facilities. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive experience for clients of all ages, while supporting their physical and emotional well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in medical records Aid in patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safety during mobility procedures Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory-related conditions in memory or behavioral health units Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care or wound dressing changes to prevent infection Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient service and ensure quality care standards are met Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with patient mobility Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Prior experience in settings such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly preferred
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
