Job Description

Category CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant to support a student in a life skills program. This role focuses on delivering both academic assistance and personal care to a student requiring a dedicated 1:1 support professional in an educational setting.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m. Contract through June 2026
Key Qualifications:
Valid New Hampshire CNA or LNA certification Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Previous experience supporting children or students with diverse needs is strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff and families Compassionate, patient, and able to maintain student dignity in all situations
Role Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 academic support to a student in the life skills program Assist with personal care, including freshening, positioning, and implementation of a toileting plan Encourage student engagement and participation in classroom activities Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to promote an inclusive environment Document and report any relevant observations or concerns as required Enjoy the rewarding experience of making a positive impact on a student's daily life and educational journey.
