Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant(CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, teaching hospitals, and critical care units. Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with patient care tasks
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide care in diverse settings including long term care facilities, rehabilitation, MLTC
- Support patients with dementia care needs
- Assist in medical documentation and record-keeping
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care Requirements
- Previous experience in a nursing home, home community care, or hospital setting is preferred
- Familiarity with working in critical care environments
- Ability to handle fast-paced and high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a CNA program is required
