Entry Level Salary:
$15.9 - $24.75 per hour Job Details - As a Permanent CNA in the Acute Medsurgical department, you will be a vital member of our healthcare team, providing essential support to our patients during their recovery journey. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong commitment to patient safety, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of medical documentation processes. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate, skilled professional with 2+ years of experience in a similar role and a strong commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring patient safety and implementing fall prevention measures. 2. Providing support to patients in their daily activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, and moving. 3. Prioritizing and responding to patient call lights in a timely and efficient manner. 4. Addressing any patient concerns or complaints, and implementing service recovery measures when necessary. 5. Documenting patient interactions and medical information accurately and efficiently, with a strong familiarity with flowsheet documentation. 6. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, always respecting patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA or in a similar role. 2. A current CNA certification. 3. Proven experience in patient safety awareness and fall prevention. 4. Experience in supporting patients with their ADLs. 5. Proven ability to prioritize and respond to call lights effectively. 6. Experience in service recovery and handling patient complaints. 7. Strong documentation skills, with familiarity in using flowsheet documentation. 8. Excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
