The purpose of this position is to provide direct personal care and related support to Long Term Care Residents while maintaining quality care services. This position ensures adherence to Miners' Colfax Medical Center and all other Regulation and Licensing policies and procedures. How does it get done? The purpose of this position is to provide direct personal care and related support to Long Term Care Residents Who are the customers? Long Term Care Residents. Ideal Candidate Long Term Care Residents. Minimum Qualification Certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) and one (1) year of experience providing basic dietary, housekeeping, and/or laundry services in a traditional long term care facility and/or as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field above certification requirements and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling one (1) year may substitute for the required experience. Employment Requirements Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results. Must be certified as a Nurse Aide or complete Nurse Aide certification within four (4) months of hire. Working Conditions Work is performed in a long term care setting, ability to lift move up to 50 lbs. May be required to work, nights or grave yard shift.
